Our client came to us seeking more space at their warehouse facilities. Opposite the original site there was space for a brand-new facility to be built, but rather than build a permanent brick building, they desired to find a more cost-effective, sensible solution to their problem.
From first contact, we addressed their requirements, assigned a dedicated Account Manger to their project, and found a viable solution.
Our CAD designers articulated plans for a tall structure, with leg height of 6m and ridge height of 10m, which would provide access for forklift trucks at the front and rear, and suit their requirement for high bay lighting.
We managed their expectations throughout the process, from obtain planning permission, to tweaking their design.
The Mar-Key team are highly-organised and qualified, to help ensure operations run smoothly, from logistics and transporting to plant and installation.
We work with a wide-portfolio of contractors and sub-contractors to source necessary plant equipment and materials.
We erected this stunning structure in less than 7 days!
The loading bay structure achieves a 27m width and 22.5m depth to provide valuable storage space for pallets.
The structure features a 330mm x 1125mm anodised aluminium profile, and is consolidated by Galvanised steel foot plates due to rough surface.
With a wide open entrance, the side walls were composed using single skin steel, while the back consisted of partially cladded single skin steel to enable access from both ends of the building.
For a seamless and permanent looking finish, the client requested a single skin steel roof and gable panels in a matching merlin grey colour tone.
